Cookie Policy
FW Delta uses no marketing cookies and no analytics cookies on its public website. Reach measurement runs cookieless on our own infrastructure. This page lists what is actually stored on your device, why, and for how long.
Because nothing here requires consent, we deliberately show no cookie banner. What is strictly necessary rests on § 25(2) TDDDG (German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act). If something consent-requiring is ever added, we will obtain consent beforehand and this page will be updated first.
02. Why We Use Cookies
We use cookies for several important purposes:
Essential Website Functionality
Enable core features like secure login, form submissions, and navigation. Without these cookies, the website cannot function properly.
Security & Fraud Prevention
Protect against cross-site request forgery (CSRF) attacks and detect suspicious activity.
Remember Your Preferences
Store a setting so you do not have to make it again on every visit. For us that is the language choice, nothing else.
Understand Website Usage
We measure reach without cookies. No information is stored on or read from your device for this purpose (see section 5).
05. Reach Measurement on Our Own Infrastructure
Cookieless by Design
To understand how our website is used, we operate our own reach measurement on our own infrastructure in Germany. It works without cookies: no identifiers are stored on your device and none are read from it for this purpose.
The data collected in this way is not passed on to third parties, and it is not used to build profiles across devices or across websites.
What this means in practice:
Self-Hosted
The measurement script and the resulting data stay on infrastructure we control. Hosting is provided by Hetzner Online GmbH in data centres in Germany (Falkenstein, Nuremberg).
No Measurement Cookies
No cookies are set for reach measurement and no identifiers are placed on your device. The language cookie in section 4 is the only one on the public website.
Pseudonymised Processing
To distinguish visits, an identifier is derived server-side from technical details such as IP address and user agent, and hashed. That happens on our server, not on your device. Hashing is pseudonymisation, not anonymisation: the processing remains subject to the GDPR.
No Sharing, No Profiles
Measurement data is not forwarded to advertising networks or analytics providers, and no cross-device profiles are created.
06. Legal Basis for Cookie Use
Our use of cookies follows the GDPR, the ePrivacy Directive, and the German TDDDG:
Strictly Necessary Cookies
Legal Basis: § 25(2) TDDDG for storing and accessing the information, in conjunction with Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR for the subsequent processing of the data
The language cookie and the client-portal session token are strictly necessary to provide the service you have expressly requested, which is why § 25(2) TDDDG does not require consent for them. Two levels have to be kept apart here: § 25 TDDDG governs access to your device, the GDPR governs the subsequent processing of the data.
Consent-requiring: currently nothing
The legal basis would be: § 25(1) TDDDG in conjunction with Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR
Any storing of or access to information on your device that is not strictly necessary requires prior, explicit, informed and freely given consent. That is precisely why we deploy nothing of the kind and do not ask you for it. A banner offering a single option would not be a real choice. If that changes, we will obtain consent beforehand, withdrawable at any time with effect for the future.
07. Cookie Retention Periods
Cookies remain on your device for the following maximum periods:
fwd-lang, language choice
12 months
Renewed on each visit. If you delete it, the language is derived from your browser settings again.
pocketbase_auth, portal sign-in
until sign-out
Only after signing in to the client portal, in local storage. Removed when you sign out.
Reach measurement stores nothing on your device, so no retention period applies to it. You can delete both at any time through your browser (see section 9).
08. Your Choices
There is no consent to give here, and therefore none to withdraw. What you can still do at any time:
Delete and block
You can delete the language cookie and the local storage entry in your browser, or block them upfront. Per-browser instructions are in the next section.
Exercise your rights
Access, erasure and objection to reach measurement under Art. 21 GDPR go through legal@fwdelta.com. Details in the privacy policy.
What happens if you block everything?
Public website: everything stays usable. Without the language cookie, the language is derived from your browser settings on every visit.
Client portal: without local storage there is no way to sign in, because the session would be lost on every page change.
09. Browser Settings & Cookie Deletion
You can also manage or delete cookies through your browser settings:
Google Chrome
GuideSettings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data → See all site data and permissions
Mozilla Firefox
GuideSettings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data → Manage Data
Safari
GuidePreferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data → Remove All
Microsoft Edge

Important Note
If you use multiple browsers or devices, you'll need to set your cookie preferences separately for each. Most browsers also offer "Do Not Track" settings and private/incognito modes that can affect cookie behavior.
10. Changes to This Cookie Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, cookies used, or legal requirements.
Current Version
Last Updated: 29 July 2026
Material changes will be communicated through a clear notice on the website. If anything consent-requiring were added, consent would be obtained beforehand rather than silently assumed.
11. Questions About Cookies?
If you have questions about how we use cookies or want to exercise your data protection rights, please contact us:
No banner, because there is nothing to decide
We build consent and tracking systems for clients. On our own public website we manage without marketing trackers and without a consent dialogue. If that ever changes, it will appear here first.
